Interested in joining the PEB Lab?
We are always interested in recruiting talented and motivated undergraduate and graduate students to join the lab.
Undergraduate Students
We often have research opportunities (senior theses and directed studies) available in our lab for motivated Cal Poly Humboldt undergraduates. Students are encouraged to pursue these opportunities after having taken one or more of my courses. If you have a solid academic record, enjoy working hard, and would like to get involved, feel free to contact us!
Graduate Students
If you're interested in doing graduate work in our lab, please contact me first to find out whether I am accepting students. If so, I'll request that you provide me with a brief description of the kind(s) of work that you think you’d like to do for your thesis, along with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) that includes relevant coursework, your GPA, any field or lab experience, and the contact information for three references. Of course, if I sponsor your application you will eventually need to go through the usual application process for Cal Poly Humboldt (see the Department of Biological Sciences Graduate Program web page for details about the application process).
